Last June, I filed a harassment complaint against a peer of mine at work. He had regularly been comparing me to Barny Frank (the aged, homosexual Congressman from Boston), making fun of my attire, and had been doing nothing to curtail vulgar and violent outbursts of one of his employees. It resulted me receiving a stern talking to by the resident senior HR specialist, who told me that it was necessary to make fun of some people, as it brought levity to the group, and that I would now be reporting to Steve (the peer I had just accused of harassment). To my surprise they also offered me a pamphlet for counseling, because they had heard of my "son's" retinoblastoma. At the meeting Steve said he would give me the extra attention I was seeking.
So that's exactly what he did. At least once a week, Steve forced me to meet with me for a minimum of an hour, with one session lasting three hours. In each session he would point out to me all of my failings, and how his people were refusing to work with me because of my personality defects. This culminated with Brian, who was once a friend of mine, exclaiming "at least gotten his work done," indicating a failure of my part and some of my coworkers, when Steve had explicitly asked us not to continue. I had had enough and left the meeting, our "daily" with approximately 25 people.
I went to HR again, seeking relief from Steve's continued harassment. Within an hour of my meeting with HR, Steve called me into his office to explain to me how it I was insane to be offended by Brian's comments, and that it was not my decision, whether I was offended by someone's words or actions. I walked out on that meeting. Net result, a week later, I was written up for "disrespecting" Steve and his staff. I had 30 days to shape up or further action would be taken. Worst part about it was that HR handed me one of those pamphlets again, saying they understood about how much stress I was under, at home.
So where's this all lead to? A new job with a 10% pay cut, and me still stressing over it at 12:00 AM in the morning. I've learned a lesson, don't go up against a good story teller, who's willing to use an infant with cancer against a you. Since then, I've been thinking about pursuing legal action, but Omaha is a small city, and I probably wouldn't be employable after that. I tell you what, I love it! If you'd like a copy of my write-up letter, let me know, it's a hoot.
Anyway, enjoy the picture of Molly. I think it's really cute. Her hair is so long now, and she's growing like a weed. I think Marcus only has like 4 lbs. on her.

It feels like spring outside!!!!!
So happy today is such nice weather! We went to the park already today. Molly is in her room complaining and doesn't want to go to sleep. Marcus was out in like 2 minutes. She should be worn out. She walked most of the way up the hill to our house. I am tired. I finally got the pictures off my camera since December. Here are a few random pictures. Nothing super excited, I am still too busy interceding near disasters and/or cleaning up actual disasters!
Marcus is the little contortionist inside this box. It is not a big box.
Oh! There he is!!
This is co-ed naked couch jumping. They climb a box onto the sofa table and dive over the couch.
Apparently pretty fun. Might have to try it. That'd be a sight!!!!
Molly in Matt's boots.
Marcus and Cooper glued to a movie! Two peas in a pod, huh?
The girls playin so nice!
And this is Molly today. I will get Marcus next time. Cute, huh?
I feel like when the weather is nice, I might take more pictures. Guess we will see.....

Molly's destruction cannot be stopped...
Even as I just began to write this post, my sweet, darling little Molly grabbed my phone off the table, and managed to break the cover of my phone AND fall off the chair and land on her face. As I am typing now, she is taking every cookbook off my sofa table and throwing them on the floor, which is one of her favorite things to do.
So, maybe I should provide some sort of entertainment or projects for my kids to do, but I can't. I don't even havce a chance to think about it, because all I do is try to deter disaster after disaster, with little success.
... In the 15 min. it took me to blog this, they ripped the pages out of my cookbooks... I have obviously done something wrong as a parent!
One of Molly's other faves, is to take all my kitchen towels and ziplocks out of their drawers. This happens multiple times per day, unless I am on top of things, which I am not usually.
I had to move my knives from here, because they are obviously too accessible.
Some of the accessories to the crimes are these lovely chairs...
I have almost the exact same picture of Marcus at this age... same dumb steps. Her mouth is so full of marshmallows here.

Follow up MRI today....
Molly had a follow up MRI today, like she will have every 6 months for a while. It went really well. Everything is stable to slightly improved. That is great news! I am so relieved! Every time we do an MRI or go to Philly, the closer we get to the appointment, the more I start to freak out. Then we have to wait for results, which is almost always the same day, so I shouldn't complain AT ALL, but it just about does me in. So now we will go to Philly in May and do another EUA there. Molly will see Dr. Troia here before that. Follow up, follw up, follow up! Hurray for follow up! ONLY!
Marcus enjoys painting, himself. And not a self portrait.
I remember playing on these at Richmond Gordmans in Grand Island. Now they are at a museum...I am old.
Molly also enjoys painting. She is pretty good at getting it everywhere. The problem is when she stops to think about her work, she sucks her painted little thumb. Yuck.
Also, I will hopefully put my drunkin Molly video on here. Her post MRI drugs make her funny. I need some help from a certain computer guy I know.

Happy New Year!
So we had a great Christmas. We spent lots of time with our familys. And Santa came to our house too. Marcus got his best gift from Santa... it was Stinky the garbage truck. I have to admit, Stinky is pretty funny. Molly got some new dress up shoes. They have heels. She walks in em pretty well.
Matt and I went skiing last weekend... this was the biggest bath tub I have ever seen. This was in our hotel room. I think it is gross to take a bath in a hotel tub, but I will sit here without the water.
Here is Molly in her Christmas dress.
This is Stinky the Garbage Truck!
