The offices for Dr. & Dr. Shields is located on the 14th floor of the Wills Eye Institute/Hospital. We were treated to this vista while in the waiting room.Below is a photograph of books by the two doctors that were in the lobby at the base of the building.
So while writing two books, running the premiere eye tumor diagnosis and treatment clinic, this married couple also raised seven (7!) children.
So may be these aren't the best pictures, but all I had was my phone camera.

I have heard about Molly through Mary Ann. Our family goes to church with her and Jan. My heart goes out to you. Unfortunately I know how you feel. On Sept 6, 2007 our then 3 year was diagnosed with cancer. Those words are so hard to hear that your child has cancer. Our daughter is now one year cancer free. I wanted to reach out and let you know that if you need to talk or vent to someone who understands you can use me. tbeamer@comcast.net
Those doctors are nuts for having seven children! :) Kalee, sorry I missed your call. Call me again when you get a chance. I didn't see your missed call for a little bit so I didn't want to call and bother you.
