Marcus in motion...and the aftermath!

Marcus had a great Christmas. He has enjoyed all of his gifts, for at least a couple minutes at a time before he leaves them and gets something else. Here is Marcus playing with some of his trucks, and a picture of my living room after he had played for a while!!

Baby Number TWO!

I had my ultrasound last week and everything is looking good. Here are a couple pictures for you all to see! May 5th is still looking like the due date. I feel the baby kick a lot and I look like I am getting fatter (probably because I am!). But other than that, nothing much has changed! We did not find out the sex of the baby. It well be a mystery till the end! Sorry mom!

Snow Man!

Marcus finally had his first real encounter with snow. At first he thought you were supposed to pick it up and rub it on your mom's pants. Then he saw Matt shoveling and and he decided to do that, except with a rake. We had him pretty bundled up and he really struggled to get up when he would fall down!

Little Cars!

Thank you Aunt Deb for providing hours of entertainment to Marcus. He played with these little cars forever! In fact, he had a mini melt down this morning because he wanted to take one to daycare. I caved so that one might not make it home!

Big Cars!

Marcus got lots of new cars for Christmas, so far! Aunt Mary Ann and Uncle Jan brought these two cars to have at grandma's house. He really likes them. He does not steer them yet, and therefore had his first fender bender resulting in a dent in grandma's wall!

Future Window Washer???

Marcus had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa Battey's house today. He helped them wash windows, apparently, every single window. Obviously, Grandpa was on the ladder outside. He was such a good little helper!

Cheesey Smile!

Marcus likes to say cheese when he has his picture taken... He doesn't always look at the camera though. I think the top picture here he looks like his dad's baby pictures!

Climbing... Everything?

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Richter this week. They had a ladder up and Marcus thought it would be fun to climb it, of course. He was very disappointed when I told him no. He also thought it would be fun to climb from the laundry basket to the couch. He still climbs everything!

New Pet!

Marcus got a new robe, a new fish, and a new Elmo bib all in one day and he was pretty excited about all of them. I don't know why, but he loves fish, so we got a beta. I think he liked the pet store more than the zoo!

Faith and Cooper

We went to visit Faith and Cooper on Saturday. Marcus had a great time playing with them and playing with chalk, shooting hoops, the swing set, throwing rocks (sorry) and running around the house about 10 times. Good times!

Your favorite super hero!

Marcus really loves his halloween costume! He was also really excited to run around outside with all the other kids in the neighborhood. He wasn't real into collecting candy. Now he says the word candy, in a demanding tone. Happy Halloween!

Big News!!

For those of you who don't know yet, Marcus has some big news to share... His sign there says he is going to be a big brother! I am due May 5th. Marcus was born the 8th so they will be 2 yrs apart.

To the Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa!

We went to the zoo on saturday morning with Grandma and Grandpa Battey. Marcus was in awe the entire time. It was very exciting to see the animals through his eyes. He especially loved the fish, sea turtle, sharks and penguins, of course.

Marcus and Dad

I tell you what, Marcus loves his daddy! Everyday, Marcus waits by the front window waiting for Matt to drive up and when he does, Marcus runs right to the door. He pretty much doesn't leave his side the rest of the day. Aren't they cute?!

On the toilet

Hanging out in the bathroom at grandpas house, I thought I would take a rest on the toilet, then Gracie joined me and then Marcus joined us! Got to be kinda crowded on one seat!

4 Generations of Richter

Grandpa, Dad, me and Marcus at Grandpa's 85th birthday party! It was wild!

A goat looking at escaping...

And Marcus if he would have been a cow!

Marcus had soo much fun, he was asleep before we pulled out of the parking lot! We watched the pig races, looked at the bunnies, ate kettle corn and ran and climbed all over! That was a fun day!

A Day at Vala's Pumpkin Patch!

Here is Marcus, having recently been eaten by a pumpkin!

Marcus with his buddy Charlie, having a snack by the pumpkins!

Of course driving the tractor!

Mama's Favorite Shirt

Even Marcus likes my favorite shirt! This was a birthday present from Maria! haha!

Big Jacket!

Marcus loves wearing all of our clothes and shoes. He will drag Matt's heavy shoes all over the house, and then stand in them. Here he is in Matt's jacket, having a great time.

Pajama's with feet!

I guess Marcus forgot all about pajama's with the feet in them, because when we put these on him the other day, he thought that was the coolest thing ever! He was stomping all over the place.

We love it when Grandpa comes to visit... especially Marcus!

Yee Haw!

Grandma and Grandpa Battey bought a new rocking horse! Marcus thinks it is pretty cool... he is learning to say Yee Haw!

Walking the dog??

When we were in Hastings, Marcus tried to walk Pebbles but the dog actually pulled him down and started to drag him a little while he was holding the leash. When he got home and went to his other grandma's, he wanted to walk Rosie the poodle. He thought if he laid down on the ground the poodle might just pull him... he was sadly wrong.
