Is it a zoo? Is it a theme park? May both, but Sea World is a ton of fun. You could ride the suspended roller-coaster, "The Manta," or feed some rays (sorry no manta rays to feed). Of course there were the obligatory, yet non-native, flamingos.
Give Kids the World gave us front seat passes to see Shamu, and yes we got soaked. We were glad we picked up some rain ponchos, but I think Molly was more happy we packed some crackers to eat while we waited for the show to start. Marcus learned that it's important to wash your hands after feeding the dolphins and rays raw fish. He was just a little sick that evening.
Unlike Disney, Sea World was getting ready for Christmas. And for us, it was one great day out side with animals and rides.
